Bentley is planning big for its upcoming premium crossover EXP 9 F. The power-train options the company is keeping are a V8 and a W12 gasoline engine plus we can also see a plug-in hybrid edition with a V6 engine. The vehicle was unveiled at the recently held 2012 Geneva Auto Show and it has been presenty put on display at the ongoing Beijing Auto Show.

Currently the vehicle is in concept form but is most likely to head for production soon. It has been designed with a 6.0liter W12 engine, mated to 8-speed auto gearbox. The engine is expected to generate a massive 600hp.

The automaker also announced that they are also considering trying out a 4.0liter V8 twin turbo that will be potent enough to churn out 500hp. It is the same power-plant, which we saw in GTC Convertible and Continental GT Coupe.

Bentley says that the probable V6 hybrid will be a groundbreaking beginning in luxury crossover segment. The hybrid version will run for 20 miles on electric power alone and will emit just 130g/km of C02; not to mention it will still be capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in under 5 seconds. A Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid will be the only potential rival of Bentley hybrid.
